Restylane & Radiesse
What is Restylane? A natural beauty lift.
Smoothing out folds and wrinkles or giving your mouth a fuller,
more sensuous form can make an enormous difference in your appearance.
This can now be carried out without the use of foreign substances.
The following product gives shape with the body's own natural material
called hyaluronic acid which binds water in your skin, to lift and
give new firmness.
Restylane is intended for wrinkle correction and lip enhancements.

What results can I expect?
What will I look like after a treatment? What results can I expect?
Here are some photos of people who have been treated with RESTYLANE,
before and after the procedure.
How is a treatment performed?
During treatment, the crystal-clear RESTYLANE gel is injected into
the skin in tiny amounts using a fine needle. The gel produces volume
under the wrinkle, which causes the wrinkle to be lifted up and
smoothened out. When enhancing lips or facial contours, RESTYLANE
adds volume and shape to the treated area.
How soon will I see results and how long does it
last?
The results can be seen immediately and produces a long-lasting,
natural enhancement, gentle and safe to your skin. The effects commonly
last up to 12 months.
What will I look like after the treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, you can expect slight redness,
swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation in the treated area.
The discomfort is temporary and generally disappears in a few days.
After a lip treatment, the lips may become swollen and look somewhat
uneven. This can persist for a few days. If the discomfort continues,
please contact your physician.
What should I think about before I have a RESTYLANE treatment?
Look at yourself in the mirror and think about the result you are
expecting. Try to convey your expectations to our doctor before
the treatment and ask what is possible.
Radiesse
What is Radiesse?
Radiesse is a long lasting skin filler that treats wrinkles, smile lines, furrows and scars.
Radiesse consists of calcium crystals suspended in a special gel.
By supplementing your skin's depleted collagen with Radiesse, our
doctor at Skinzone Medical can smooth out your wrinkles and most
scars. It is a safe, effective, time-tested, in-office wrinkle treatment
that provides immediate and lasting results (it can last years!).

(before & after)
What areas respond best to Radiesse treatments?
• Smile lines between the nose and lip corners
• Wrinkles around the mouth and lips
• Lip enhancement
• Depressed scars
What are Radiesse treatments like?
At Skinzone Medical, a Radiesse treatment takes about fifteen minutes.
Radiesse is injected into the wrinkle, through a tiny needle, and
placed just under your skin. The result with Radiesse is immediate,
so you can determine at first glance if you are happy with the result
or if you would like more Radiesse injected. Usually one treatment
is sufficient because Radiesse is not absorbed by your body and
is long lasting.
Some of the benefits of the Radiesse implant are:
• Results are immediate.
• It cannot provoke any allergic reaction.
• It is soft and remains pliable for years.
• It is cost-effective because it is long lasting.
• There is no need to harvest tissue from another site on your body.
• Radiesse can be used alone or in conjunction with other facial
rejuvenation procedures such as laser skin rejuvenation, chemical
peels or facial surgery.
What can I expect after my treatment with Radiesse?
Patients are up and around immediately after receiving their Radiesse
treatments. You can expect greatly improved wrinkles, enhanced lips
or smoothed-out depressed scars. Any discomfort following the procedure
can be controlled with medication. The treatment site may have a
little swelling, which may last 24 to 36 hours depending on the
area treated. There may be some slight bruising at the injection
site, which can be covered with make-up.
How long will the results last?
Depending on the area treated, most of your correction may last
for several months or years. Some touch-up treatments may be necessary.
